Sting Lax “Little Bees” program lets boys and girls in Kindergarten to join a learn-to-play program without travel, competition, or large equipment purchases.
About Little Bees
Format
Little Bees program does not travel or play competitive games. We play in-town only, at Landry field in Ashburnham.
We introduce lacrosse skills, practice lacrosse drills, reinforce teamwork, and have fun!
Schedule
Little Bees meet once a week, for one hour per meeting. Day & time may vary by year.
These ‘practices’ typically correspond with the Sting Boys or Girls 1st/2nd grade team practices.
This way, families with multiple young players will only need to attend one practice night per week.
Equipment
No helmets, pads, or goggles needed— we’ll use tennis balls and/or other soft practice balls.
All you need is a lacrosse stick!
Girls and boys sticks are different! Please be aware when buying or borrowing equipment.
